Professional Membership is open to all who meet the educational standards laid down by the association. Professional Members undertake to abide by the KAI Constitution, Code of Ethics, Standards of Practice and who hold practitioner insurance. A Professional Member has voting rights, may go forward for election to the KAI Committee. Professional Members will receive newsletter and information updates.

Associate Membership is suitable for Professional Members who have ceased practising or who have taken sabbaticals or advanced students who are not yet practising professionally. An Associate Member may attend AGM’s but does not have voting rights. Associate Members will receive newsletters and information updates.

Affiliate Membership is open to Kinesiology Schools or other bodies or to practitioners who do not meet the educational requirements for full Professional KAI Membership but who use Kinesiology in their practice – for example a multi-disciplinary practitioner. An Affiliate Member may attend AGM’s but does not have voting rights. Affiliate Members will receive newsletters and information updates. To achieve Professional Membership, an Affiliate must reach the educational requirements in place at the time of first joining the KAI.

Student Membership is open to anyone who has commenced a course of study in a recognised branch of Kinesiology. A student member may attend AGM’s but does not have voting rights.
